I be a good therapist for you? |
 |
Clients
who benefit most from working with me are interested in gaining
self-awareness, improving interpersonal relationships, and enhancing
how they experience life. Therapy with me often focuses on understanding emotional patterns and developing new coping strategies. I find
that linking past experiences to current issues is often helpful
in promoting personal growth. |
| |
Common
goals I help clients achieve:
effectively managing difficult emotions such
as sadness, anger, and fear
alleviating depression, anxiety, and other mood
disturbances
improving relationships and creating more authentic
connections with others
learning healthy techniques for coping with
the demands of life
enhancing self-esteem and self-acceptance

My
Role as Therapist
|
| My
theoretical approach is largely influenced by humanistic and
psychodynamic theories of human development. I believe that
early childhood experiences are rich and meaningful sources
of wisdom that can guide people in making healthy choices. I
also find that considering all aspects of functioning (emotional,
physical, spiritual and social) is essential when helping people
make lasting changes. |
 |
I
view my role as facilitator and supporter of your learning and
growth. You are seen as the expert on your life, and as ultimately responsible for your choices and decisions. I welcome your input about how I can be most helpful in meeting your needs. |
